Sunday, March 5th 2023 at Club Agave in Austin, HOT Anarchy Champion "The Crisis Artist" Jeff Gant defends his title against his friend turned arch nemesis Dan "The Man!"
The previous month, in Austin at Guilty by Association, Dan was at Gant's side and after he helped Gant pick up another victory, he hit him in the back with the belt and later that night, threw it in the dumpster behind the venue. On his social media, Gant explained he was done being in Gant's shadow and it was time for him to branch out on his own, while also thanking Gant for teaching him every dastardly tactic he knows and will now use against him. This weekend at WrestleBowl 2, Jeff Gant interfered in Dan's match against Jason Silver, costing Dan the win. Later in the night Dan returned the favor when he appeared during Gant's match and allowed Lawrence Botello to pick up a non-title victory over Gant.
